MARCUS J. RAMPTON, M.D.
Marcus Rampton returned to his home-state of Oregon in 2015 after
serving in the US Army for eight years as a physician and
anesthesiologist. He grew up in Corvallis, attended undergrad at
Brigham Young University and medical school at the University of
Rochester. He did his anesthesiology residency at Brooke Army Medical
Center in San Antonio, serving as the chief resident in his final year
there. While in the Army, he deployed to Afghanistan in 2012-2013 for
7 months, helping to take care of over 1000 major trauma patients.
Marcus is an avid outdoorsman, the first American to summit Mount
McKinley in the year 2000, and has completed an Ironman Triathlon. He
is the proud father of two children, Jack and Eliza, and his wife
Rebecca is a Nurse Practitioner in the community.
